[Cherry Blossom Peak Viewing] Baba-jima Zazen Cherry Blossom

Cherry blossoms of the 'Ooyamazakura' variety, which is prevalent in northern Japan, bloom along the prefectural road in Baba-jima. The name 'Zazen Cherry Blossom' comes from the appearance of the tree seemingly meditating on a stone. The contrast with the lingering snow is also beautiful. Be sure to see the Zazen Cherry Blossom before climbing Mt. Tsurugi.
