Hassaku Festival

A festival that evokes 1400 years of history and tradition
It is said to have begun with the ascetic monks praying at the Hachiko Shrine dedicated to the founder Prince Hachiko, followed by the lighting of the Omikoshi Goma by the monks. The sight of the fire illuminating the summit of Mount Haguro at night is truly majestic.
