Ikeda Awa Odori

Many dancers from various groups gathered from both inside and outside the city dance wildly in time with the music, vividly coloring the night of Ikeda. The appeal of the Ikeda Awa Odori is the proximity between the dance groups and the audience. Particularly during the flowing dances on Station Front Street and Sakae Town Street, as well as the circle dances in the station plaza, spectators can enjoy the powerful male dances and graceful female dances up close. Additionally, there are seated areas set up on part of Sakae Town Street for a more leisurely viewing experience. Moreover, each group will take turns showcasing stage dances at Hesokko Park.
