Perseid Meteor Shower Viewing Event

Wish upon a shooting star! How many shooting stars can we see?
Rikubetsu Space Earth Science Museum (Galactic Forest Observatory)
8/12(Tue) 19:30~22:30
8/13(Wed) 19:30~22:30
Observe the Perseid meteor shower, which reaches its peak activity around this time. This year's peak is expected around 5 AM on August 13 (about 40 meteors per hour). The peak time will be during dawn, so it can't be observed, but the days around it provide a chance to enjoy meteors. This year, the moon will be bright after the full moon, which may not be ideal for observation conditions, but we can still expect to see bright shooting stars. The observatory's rooftop has tatami mats laid out where you can lie down and gaze at the night sky. Prepare your wishes and look for shooting stars!
