A short-term program to experience life in rural mountain villages through assisting in farming and participating in local events. Morotsuka Village is certified as a World Agricultural Heritage site in the Takachiho and Shiiba Mountain region, surrounded by mountains at an altitude of 1000 meters, where a unique industrial system and culture have developed. Why not peek into a world completely opposite from the city? Activities include helping with farming, participating in local festivals, listening to talks about community center activities, and exchanges with former volunteers. ■Notes The application deadline is October 14 (Tue). There are only 3 spots available, so please apply early!
