[Sakura - Best Viewing] Shioi's Pilgrimage Cherry Blossom

The name is derived from its location along the pilgrimage path leading to the sacred area of Togakushi, known for its ascetic practices and faith. This large Edohigan cherry tree is estimated to be 700 years old, with a height of 18.2m and a trunk circumference of 7.3m. Each spring, it produces beautiful flowers all over its branches and is designated as a natural monument by Nagano City.
