The Hiroshima Museum of Art, which has built one of Japan's foremost collections of modern French art from early 19th century Romanticism centered on Impressionism to early 20th century École de Paris, along with modern Japanese art influenced by these movements. This time, from the precious collection, we will showcase 70 pieces including works by masters of modern French art such as Courbet, Monet, Renoir, and Picasso, as well as works by leading figures of modern Japanese Western-style painting like Chu Asai and Kiyoteru Kuroda.
