Traditional gabled roof houses with white walls and wooden frames arranged in a lattice pattern stand closely together, and the area has been selected as one of the "Hundred Selections of Beautiful Japanese Village Landscapes" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Additionally, it can be viewed from a high point at Miyazaki Elementary School, and it has also been selected as one of the "Fukui's Favorite Hundred Views" by Fukui Prefecture. During the cherry blossom season, visitors can enjoy a view of the cherry blossom trees against the backdrop of the white walls.

Get off at JR Takefu Station, take the Fukutetsu Bus towards Karizaki bound for Echizen Coast Line for about 20 minutes, and get off immediately after Shimo Ebi
