Famous Cherry Blossom Spot: "Nishi Park"
Nishi Park opened in 1881. It is an old scenic spot that offers a panoramic view of Hakata Bay and Shikanoshima. In spring, about 1,300 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yoko cherry blossoms, bloom brilliantly, attracting many visitors. During the cherry blossom viewing period, vehicle passage on all park paths is planned to be restricted. As there will be traffic regulations, it is recommended to use public transportation for your visit. ■Notes No use of open flames. Any behavior that disturbs others around is prohibited.
