Spring Attire of the Ancient Capital, Kyoto
At an elevation of 375m, Arashiyama towers over the Oi River. The nationally designated scenic area of Arashiyama is adorned with approximately 1,500 cherry trees in soft pink hues during spring. Various species such as Somei Yoshino, mountain cherry, double-flowered cherry, and weeping cherry blossom bloom magnificently, creating a vibrant atmosphere. A popular viewpoint is Nakanojima Park, where visitors can admire the delicate flowers against the backdrop of the Togetsukyo Bridge.
