Kancho Shrine's June Lantern Festival

At the June Lantern Festival of Kancho Shrine in the Shiwaike area (held every July 29th), trick fireworks that have been passed down since the Edo period are showcased, entertaining the audience. The fireworks travel along ropes strung throughout the shrine grounds, bursting into sparks one after another in a tightrope act, also known as 'Tsunabi'.
