[Sakura - Best Viewing] Sugi no Itozakura

A famous cherry blossom in Aizubange Town. This Edohigan-type weeping cherry tree has white flowers that appear to flow down and is located within the grounds of Yakuoji Temple in the Sugi area. It is estimated to be 200 years old, but it is said to be the second generation transplanted from Miyagi County during the Tensho era.
