Shiroishi City Spring Festival
Spring Shiroishi, a grand procession in Shiroishi Castle town
The main event, the "Shiroishi Grand Procession," will take place. Taiko floats, portable shrines, and armored warriors will parade through the castle town. There will also be participatory events such as the "Rice Bale Sumo Tournament" which competes on how quickly contestants can carry 50 kg out of the ring, as well as stage events. It's a great outing during Golden Week, so consider bringing the whole family.
