Kanrai Memorial Special Event

Why not make it a day to think about peace?
August 15 is the anniversary of the death of painter Kanou Kanrai, who continued to wish for peace. On this day, which coincides with the anniversary of the end of the war, a special event called 'Kanrai Memorial' will be held at the Kanou Art Museum in Yasugi City. Local children will read the picture book 'The Flying Fish Boy is Sick,' which depicts the desire for the abolition of nuclear weapons and the preciousness of peace. Additionally, a live concert by Gospel Orb, active in various locations centered around Yonago, titled 'Tracing 100 Years of Showa and 80 Years After the War' will be held.
