Tono-Ura Tourist Tai-Net

A harbinger of early summer in Tono-Ura, the tourist Tai-Net. The Tai-Net is a traditional fishing method that has been passed down for about 400 years in Tono-Ura. Participants can observe the fishing activity from the sea while being blown by the sea breeze. The "Tono-Ura Tai Shibari Net Fishing Method," which waits in ambush for schools of red sea bream to catch them all at once, is full of excitement!

The event will be held on April 26 (Saturday), 27 (Sunday), 29 (Tuesday) and May 3 (Saturday) to 6 (Tuesday). ※ The start time is 11:00, but it is expected that parking lots and roads will be very crowded on the day. Visitors for the tourist Tai-Net should take the ferry to Sensuijima no later than 10:50.
