Owari Tsushima Tenno Festival

The Tenno Festival, which has a history and tradition of nearly 600 years, continues to be passed down to the present day.
During the evening festival, five straw boats decorated with over 600 lanterns row along while playing Tsushima music, and the flickering lights of the lanterns reflecting on the river surface create a mystical atmosphere. The morning festival, held at dawn, features six beautiful festival boats adorned with traditional Noh dolls, gliding gracefully toward the shrine while playing ancient music. It's like watching a magnificent picture book of the imperial court.
