[Autumn Foliage, Best Time] Akkayama

The 360° view from the summit is fantastic, with the Japan Sea and the Northern Alps in sight. The varied terrain, including beech forests and rocky areas, is also captivating. During the autumn foliage season, many hikers and photography enthusiasts visit. At the foot of the mountain, there are giant willows along the Omi River, making for enjoyable nature walks. It takes about 4 hours to climb to the top and about 3 hours to descend.
