Summer Triangle and Celestial Observation Event

Observe the Milky Way and summer celestial bodies that are best seen during this season. Let's observe the bright and shining Orihime and Hikoboshi, as well as the nebulae and star clusters that color the summer with a 115cm reflecting telescope. During this period when there is little influence from moonlight, looking at the night sky allows you to enjoy the Summer Triangle and the Milky Way. Also, try to find the constellation Cygnus, which is positioned as if it is soaring just above the Milky Way. By participating in the explanatory meeting held on weekends, you can learn more about summer celestial bodies. Enjoy the summer night at the Galaxy Forest Observatory!

Note

Closed on July 28 (Monday) and 29 (Tuesday). Opening hours are from 14:00 to 22:30, and the explanatory meeting is from 19:30 on Saturdays and Sundays (about 25 minutes). During this time, the night sky becomes dark enough to easily observe the Milky Way from around 20:45.
