Hatsuhatsu Mairi May Hatsuhatsu Grand Festival

The most divine blessings can be received at the Hatsuhatsu Mairi in May
Among the monthly Hatsuhatsu Mairi events, the Hatsuhatsu Grand Festival in May is believed to provide even greater strength and support. Completing 48 visits over a four-year period fulfills the wishes. This is derived from the meaning of 'forty-eight' (shi-yatsu) which signifies ongoing development. Being able to continue the monthly visits for four years signifies that one has been safely progressing. At the Kusunoki Shrine, a special talisman called 'Mangan Fuda' is granted to those who have consistently prayed every month for four years.
