How about enjoying cherry blossoms at a relaxing spot for the citizens of Tottori?
Tottori Castle, famous for being besieged by Toyotomi Hideyoshi (later known as Toyotomi), still has remnants of the main keep and the secondary bailey. The surrounding area has been developed into Kumasu Park, a place of relaxation for the citizens of Tottori. Approximately 240 cherry trees, mainly Somei Yoshino, bloom along the moat, and it has been selected as one of the '100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots.' Lanterns are also lit up to coincide with the cherry blossoms' peak viewing period.
