Koubou Mountain Tomb (Sakura Season)

The Koubou Mountain Tomb is located at the summit of Koubou Mountain (about 650m above sea level) in the eastern part of Matsumoto City. Approximately 4000 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura, are planted from the foot of the mountain to the summit, and their pale pink hues add color to the landscape. The changes in the gradation of the cherry blossoms are also splendid.

Access (Public)

Take the Alpico Transport Naruyanagi District Line bus from Matsumoto Station or Matsumoto Bus Terminal for about 15 minutes and get off at "Koubou Mountain Entrance," then walk about 5 minutes.
