In November 1970, Taiji Irie published his first full-color photography book "Ancient Color Nara Road", achieving great success. He later tackled the landscapes of Manyo, releasing "Manyo Nara Road" (1974) and "Flower Nara" (1976). These works have been highly praised for beautifully depicting the shrines and nature of Nara, and he received the Kikuchi Kan Prize in 1976. This exhibition carefully selects and introduces 29 representative works of Irie's that capture the historical beauty of the Nara route. ■ Notes Every second and fourth Saturday of the month at 2 PM – work commentary
