April 27 is 'World Tapir Day'
At Asa Zoological Park, in connection with World Tapir Day on April 27, a special explanation regarding the Malayan tapir raised in the park will be held on April 26 (Saturday). Original button badges will also be distributed. World Tapir Day... Established in 2008, it aims to inform many people about the endangered status of tapirs (American tapir, cabybara, Baird's tapir, Malayan tapir, mountain tapir) living in Central and South America and Southeast Asia and to promote their conservation.
