Reiwa 7 Year Night Takai Andon Festival
A dazzling summer scroll that ignites the night sky
One of Hokkaido's three major Andon festivals, the Numata Town Night Takai Andon Festival. More than a dozen Andon lanterns of various sizes parade through the streets, illuminating the night. The climax of the festival features impressive clashes between large Andons, full of grandeur and excitement! On 8/23 (Saturday), we will be live streaming on the official YouTube channel, so you can enjoy it from home too! Be sure to head to Numata Town to experience this thrill!
