Reiwa 6th Year "Kids Traditional Performing Arts Experience" Youth Program

"Kids Traditional Performing Arts Experience Youth Program" includes 10 practice sessions led by professional performers and a presentation at Asakusa Public Hall. It is a special curriculum for busy junior high and high school students due to studies and club activities. Through real experiences, participants will not only acquire skills but also touch the spirit of Japanese tradition that lives within traditional performing arts. There are 3 courses: Shamisen, Koto Music, and Japanese Dance. For more details, please refer to the official website. There will be 10 practice sessions on 12/22, 1/12, 19, 26, 2/2, 9, 16, 23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 27, and 28. The opening ceremony is on 9/22 (National Noh Theatre). The rehearsal and presentation will be on 3/27 or 28 (Asakusa Public Hall). * Please check the official website for details.
