140th Anniversary Birth Exhibition of Kawabata Ryūko

This painter is out of the ordinary!!
Kawabata Ryūko (1885-1966), a Japanese painter counted among the three great masters of modern Japanese painting along with Yokoyama Taikan and Kawakami Tamido, has continuously overwhelmed and captivated audiences with large works that transcend the established concepts of Japanese painting.
