The Shiranui Sea, surrounded by Amakusa and Kagoshima Prefecture's islands, is blessed with a lake-like calmness and rich nature. Tate Beach, located on the west side of the Shiranui Sea, is very popular with families for safe swimming and gets crowded with small children in the height of summer. Additionally, the coastline leading to Tate Beach boasts one of the most beautiful sceneries in Amakusa, blending charmingly with traditional landscapes, creating a serene atmosphere. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, and toilets.
