30th Anniversary Special Exhibition "Cultural Properties of Yokohama - Preserving Local Memories" Part 1 & Part 2

Since its opening, the Yokohama City History Museum has conducted research on cultural properties in the Yokohama area, investigating their historical and artistic values, while disseminating the results through exhibitions. Additionally, the museum has worked with local communities to protect or restore the cultural properties and preserve them for the future in appropriate environments. This exhibition is divided into Part 1 "Restoration" and Part 2 "Transmission," introducing restoration techniques for cultural properties, the people involved, and the environments that convey these cultural properties alongside related materials.
