A park created at the site of Matsusaka Castle, popular as a cherry blossom viewing spot. During the season, it is bustling with many visitors day and night. (The Matsusaka Castle Ruins have been designated as a national historic site since February 2011) Additionally, the park features the Motoori Norinaga Memorial Museum and the History and Folklore Museum, and nearby is the Shiroban Yashiki, allowing visitors to enjoy a historical atmosphere in the town.
