Usuki Tenjin Summer Festival

The representative festival of summer in Usuki
The Fukura Tenmangu Summer Festival is counted as one of the three major festivals of Usuki, and has traditionally included the 'Shiba hiki' kagura and the 'Akashishi-ren' from Hirakiyama. The festival is held lively for three days, especially on the final night, where drums, lion dances, and a great serpent subjugation are offered, drawing many worshippers.
