Kiseki Kosaka, a representative calligrapher of the Showa era, served as the president of the calligraphy research group 'Bokusha' and traveled to Kyushu twice a year for over 20 years to teach his students. In Oita Prefecture, the calligraphy style has been passed down by those who studied under Kiseki, and many of his works are cherished. This exhibition will showcase 47 works that are being publicly displayed for the first time at the museum, along with related materials. ■ Notes Talk on 2/16 (Yasuto Maki, Katsuyama Toguchi, Rokugo Matsuzaki), Exhibition explanations on 3/2 and 3/15.
