The World Cultural Heritage "Meiji Japan's Industrial Revolution - Heritage of Iron and Steel, Shipbuilding, and the Coal Industry -" will celebrate its 10th anniversary of World Heritage registration this July. A panel exhibition will introduce various component assets spread across 11 cities in 8 prefectures, centered around the "Miiike Coal Mine," which once boasted the highest coal production in Japan. Additionally, there will be a photo opportunity corner where visitors can dress up as coal miners, and unique local food sales will be available on weekends. Let's take this opportunity to visit.
