The cherry blossoms color the moat where the sea bream swim
Tamao Park is a park that has been developed around the ruins of Takamatsu Castle and is designated as a national historic site. The moat is connected to the Seto Inland Sea via a water gate and has 100% seawater. It is a unique park where sea bream raised from fry can be released, and visitors can feed them from traditional wooden boats in the inner moat. During the cherry blossom season, many cherry blossoms bloom, attracting numerous visitors for hanami (flower viewing). Additionally, from March 28 to April 6, 'Sakura no Baba Nighttime Free Admission for Cherry Blossom Viewing' will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy the illuminated cherry blossoms at night.
