Noh Theatre Ikeda Hazuki Fire Performance 2025

Folk and classical arts compete in a fire performance!
Performing Noh and Kyogen with artists who are living national treasures, rooted in local folk performing arts. Enjoy a mysterious and ethereal world illuminated by bonfires. There will also be food and product booths. The performances include "Amazangoko" and "Takasago" from the agricultural Noh play by Mizumi, "Ojin'nojiko" from Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the Okura-style Kyogen "Kamisumo" (featuring Shigezama Shichigosan among others), and the Kongō-style Noh "Kurumasō" (featuring Kongō Eikin among others). Check the website for ticket sales. There are also related events such as the Ikeda Old Mask Panel Exhibition, Creative Noh Mask Exhibition, and Noh Actor Experience.
