Gujo Odori in Aoyama

Join the Gujo Odori circle in Aoyama!
"Gujo Odori in Aoyama" has been decided to be held! The origin of the name "Aoyama" is derived from the residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu's vassal, "Aoyama Tadanari." A branch of the Aoyama family held Gujo-han in the mid-Edo period, and due to the connection of the family temple being placed in Aoyama's "Baisouin," the Gujo Odori in Aoyama has come to be held. Gujo Odori can be easily joined even by first-timers who can dance along by watching. Local specialties from Gujo, such as Meihou ham, local sake, and fresh vegetables, will also be sold at the venue on the day.
