Beautiful Cherry Blossoms in a Scenic Garden

Scenic Spot Isuien

Late Mar~Mid-Apr 09:30~16:30

Isuien, designated as a scenic spot, consists of two types of pond-style gardens from different eras. Beyond the vast Japanese garden's pond lie the historic mountains of the old capital, including Todai-ji Temple's Nandaimon, Wakakusa-yama, Kasuga-yama, and Mikasa-yama, allowing you to experience a different side of ancient Nara. In spring, the weeping cherry, Somei Yoshino, and double-flowered cherry blossom in the garden bloom, adding vibrant colors.
