The annual Donburi Matsuri held during Golden Week. It attracts many families every year. Various types of donburi are sold, including shirasu don made from seasonal whitebait caught at Wakayura Fishing Port. The event ends when sold out, so if you have a particular donburi in mind, be sure to come to the venue early.
