Karatsu Shrine Spring Grand Festival
The floats of Karatsu Kunichi gather in front of Karatsu Shrine!
In November, "Karatsu Kunichi" refers to the autumn grand festival of Karatsu Shrine, which attracts around 500,000 people each year. The 14 floats that make an appearance gather in front of Karatsu Shrine on April 29. It's great to take commemorative photos surrounded by the floats, or to feel the texture of the ropes. The start of the Golden Week begins in Karatsu!
