Pilgrimage with Monks to the Thirteen Buddha Statues of Kamakura (Eastern Pilgrimage in December 2025)

Visit the Thirteen Buddha Sites in Kamakura with Monks as Guides
Pilgrimage with Monks to the Thirteen Buddha Statues of Kamakura" is a journey to walk through the Thirteen Buddha statues (Thirteen Temples) while chanting the Heart Sutra with monks and receiving goshuin (temple seals). Bringing a goshuin book, we visit the compassionate Buddha, the wrathful Buddha, and the gentle Buddhas, praying for the eradication of our past and present sins, and for a good rebirth in the future, as well as for our parents, families, and relatives who have passed away. The pilgrimage includes visits to Myooin, Jomyoji, Hokokuji, Kakuonji, Raigoji, and Hongakuji. Advance registration is required.
