41st Itako Waterside Cherry Blossom Festival

The cherry blossom festival held at Gongen-yama Park, known for its great views and selected as one of the 100 scenic spots in Ibaraki where Lake Kasumigaura can be seen at a glance. Gongen-yama Park boasts 250 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura, making it the top cherry blossom viewing spot in Itako City. During the festival, illumination is conducted every day, allowing visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.
