Sen-dou Kuyo Festival

The light of the lanterns gently fills the grounds
Held over two days on September 24th and 25th every year, lanterns are lit to express wishes for the repose of ancestors and traffic safety. A large number of lanterns are dedicated, filling the precincts, and the Oiwake Jizo, said to be the largest seated stone Jizo statue in northern Kanto, is also illuminated. The Jizo Bon Festival, where the light of the lanterns gently fills the grounds.
