Lantern Floating Ceremony
Commemorating the victims of the atomic bomb with lanterns
A memorial ceremony for the victims of the atomic bomb. Local elementary schools and community associations create lanterns. The lanterns are arranged in the shape of a well and towed by boats on the river. The soft light envelops the entire area.
