Ask a monk! The Secrets of Mitsuhide Akechi - Public Display of Hidden Treasures and Secret Buddhas from Saikyo-ji

Get closer to the secrets of Mitsuhide Akechi! Special Viewing Event
A special viewing event where a monk explains the unknown true nature of Mitsuhide Akechi based on historical materials from the temple. Special displays include the 'Sakamoto Castle Battle Bell' which is said to have been donated by Mitsuhide and his handwritten document 'Donation of Rice for the Memorial Service of Mitsuhide Akechi'. Additionally, the normally closed structures of Fushimi Castle, 'Momoyama Goten', and the secret Buddha 'Yakushi Nyorai' will also be on display. For dinner, 'Cool Summer Vegetable Somen' will be served. Applications will be accepted until June 11 on the JAF homepage. If there are too many applicants, a lottery will be held. Participation is limited to those in elementary school and above.
