Archaeological Learning Center Golden Week Ancient Experience Plaza

Easily experience ancient times at the Archaeological Learning Center. Fire-starting experience (2-3 people per group, 50 yen), production experience (each 150 yen: plate-shaped clay doll magnet, ancient style clay ball for coloring, and ancient style strap for coloring clay magatama). Each takes about 20 to 40 minutes. Explore Jomon period pit dwelling remains and take on pottery connection puzzles in a hands-on exhibition room that recreates excavation sites, as well as enjoy closely observing various pottery excavated in the city.
