Abare Festival

Abare Festival

A magnificent Kiriko festival that heralds the arrival of summer

Udzutsu, Noto Town

7/4(Fri)

7/5(Sat)

The Noto Kiriko Festival is held as the leading event of the season. On the first day, about 40 Kiriko dance under the large torches, swirling amidst the falling sparks—this sight is a must-see! On the second day, in addition to the Kiriko, two portable shrines appear, and the shrines are thrown into the sea, rivers, and fire. It is known as one of the most magnificent festivals in the Noto region's Kiriko festivals.
