Konko Festival

One of the three major festivals of Kishu
The festival of Konkoji Shrine, 'Konko Santu Jinja,' is considered one of the three major festivals of Kishu. On the night of the night festival, beautifully decorated 'danjiri' floats line up along Konko Tonmaka Street from in front of Konko Station to in front of Konkoji Temple, proudly parading down the street. Additionally, during the main event, there will be children's danjiri, mochi throwing, and performances by the Konko Junior High School brass band.
