Come to the Star Festival in Fussa!
The Fussa Tanabata Festival is held every year around the west exit of Fussa Station in Tokyo. For three days, the town of Fussa is filled with colorful "bamboo decorations." There are plenty of events, including folk dance parades, portable shrine and float parades, and the Tanabata Orihime contest. During the festival, many citizens' stalls and street vendors line the streets, offering a taste of international gourmet food that is not easily accessible during regular times. The festival attracts 400,000 visitors every year.
