Geological Information Exhibition 2025 Kumamoto - Land of Fire, Land of Water! The Wonders of the Earth -

A special exhibition explaining the geology of Kumamoto in an easy-to-understand manner. Learn while having fun! Experience and experiment corners, learn by seeing and hearing! Exhibitions and explanations on "Kumamoto's geology, groundwater and resources, earthquakes, active faults, volcanic slope disasters, and local information." Introduction of the Geological Sample Museum and sales of museum goods and publications from the Geological Survey Comprehensive Center. Researchers will also talk about Kumamoto Castle, volcanoes, active faults, and groundwater. A 3-day event to learn about the Earth in a fun way! ■Remarks On 9/15 (national holiday Monday) from 14:00 to 16:00, a public lecture "Stories of Dinosaurs in Kyushu" will also be held (in the 3rd-floor large conference room) by the Japan Geological Society.
