Narrative and Music: Missionary Doctor Almeida - The Arrival of Western Medicine -

Tracing the life of missionary doctor Almeida through a musical drama
Living a tumultuous life, Louis de Almeida established Japan's first Western-style hospital in Oita. Just like Xavier, he met Otomo Sorin and made significant contributions as a missionary. To celebrate the 500th anniversary of his birth, we present a musical drama accompanied by the sounds of ancient instruments. Cast: Yoshimichi Hamada & Antonello. *No entry for preschool children
