<Kuma Village, Kumamoto Prefecture> July 2020 Heavy Rain Disaster Panel Exhibition

Kuma Village July 2020 Heavy Rain Disaster Panel Exhibition
On July 4, 2020, the "July 2020 Heavy Rain Event" occurred. Continued rain from July 3 resulted in the Kumagawa River and its tributaries overflowing in Kuma Village, causing flooding of main roads, breaches, and landslides, leading to significant damage. This July 4 marks the 5th anniversary of the disaster. To reflect on these five years and to transmit this memory and lesson to future generations, a panel exhibition will be held. Additionally, there will be tourism PR activities on weekends.
